Garden Share Crop Partnerships Now Available! 

TERMS OF AGREEMENT

  • 12 Hour per week commitment (seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting)
  • No chemical fertilizers or pesticides
  • Each space 400-800 linear feet
  • All irrigation, compost, fertilization, mulch, and tools provided
  • Keep 20% of produce, or enough to feed household
  • Special Recognition as Food Security Hero for all who complete season

What if you could feed your community while feeding your family?

Providence Gardens of Hope is looking for candidates to participate in our Share Crop Garden Program, who want to grow their own healthy food, and help us provide fresh produce to local food banks and recovery homes. 

-12 Hour per Week Commitment (seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting)
-No chemical fertilizers or pesticides
-800 linear feet of grow space
-Keep up to 20% of your production, or enough to feed your family
-Share crops with other garden partners
-Monthly gardening lessons
-All irrigation, compost, fertilization, mulch, and tools provided by Providence
-Special Recognition as Food Security Hero for all who complete season March to Nov

Some of the 80% share of produce will go towards supplying local food banks and recovery homes with organically grown local vegetables. Another portion of it will go towards supporting fundraising opportunities for local organizations, churches, non-profits, and institutions. Another portion will go directly to individuals who need it most. Anything that is spoiled or inedible will go for animal feed or compost which will all get mixed back into the system, so there is no waste.
